We’d like to take a moment to introduce you to one of our longtime Loveland customers, the City of Loveland’s Parks and Recreation Department.
Can you give us a brief overview of the City of Loveland’s Parks and Recreation Department and its different programs?
The City of Loveland Parks and Recreation Department consists of five divisions, offering diverse and comprehensive year-round programming for all ages at a number of facilities throughout Loveland. Divisions include Parks, Recreation, Open Lands & Trails, Golf, and Administration, with 31 city parks, Chilson Recreation/Senior Center, 900 acres of public access natural areas, an 18-mile paved trail system, three golf courses, Winona Outdoor Pool, and Lake Loveland Swim Beach.
How long has the City of Loveland worked with Burt’s Logo Apparel?
Loveland Parks & Recreation has been working with Burt’s since the mid-1990s. The Recreation Division originally began ordering League Champion t-shirts about 20 years ago and continues to do so today based on quality products and service. Burt’s has supplied promotional apparel for numerous special events, unique programs and staff uniforms over the years since.
What products has the City of Loveland gotten from Burt’s?
The Chilson Recreation Center has purchased a variety of promotional apparel, including t-shirts to celebrate events and programs, as well as shirts, jackets and vests to identify staff members. The Recreation Division purchases League Champion t-shirts for recreation leagues on a regular basis. The Open Lands & Trails Division ordered unique t-shirts for members of the Project Outdoors Youth Advisory Council, local students who are helping to plan new ways for Loveland youth to connect with nature. The specially-designed t-shirts featured partner and project logos.
How does having branded materials help communicate the Parks and Recreation Department’s mission to its audiences?
Branded materials help increase public awareness of Loveland Parks & Recreation and the programs and services that the City provides to the community. Branded apparel gives our staff a consistent, professional look, which in turn promotes our high-quality facilities and services.
