Hands up if you’re falling for fall! The season for pumpkin picking, leaf crunching and Oktoberfest celebrating is upon us. Make the most of the season by grabbing your lederhosen and heading to any of these fantastic fall events in northern Colorado.

Where: Lincoln Park in Downtown Greeley
Details: Get in touch with your German heritage at this classic Oktoberfest-style celebration! Enjoy craft beer at the VIP Beer Tasting portion, as well as live entertainment from German bands, kids’ activities, pie eating contests, stein lifting contests and more.

- Elk Fest

Where: Bond Park, Estes Park
Details: Celebrate the elk bugling season with this weekend long festival in Estes Park! Enjoy bugling contests, elk exhibits, arts and crafts, kids’ activities, dancing, storytelling and more.

- Tour de Corgi
When: Sept. 29
Where: Civic Center Park in downtown Fort Collins
Details: Celebrating all things great about our favorite short-legged fluffy friends, Tour de Corgi includes a parade, costume contest, vendor booths and more!

- Taste in Timnath Fall Festival & 5K
When: Oct. 6
Where: Downtown Timnath on Main Street
Details: This annual event starts with the Scarecrow 5K Fun Run through the Timnath countryside at 9 a.m., benefiting the Food Bank for Larimer County (and with race shirts made by yours truly!). Following the race, the festival includes kids’ activities, live music from the Tallgrass Band and Chris Daniels & the Kings, authentic German cuisine and beer pairings, and much more.

- Halloween Family Fun Festival
When: Oct. 27
Where: Loveland Museum
Details: This annual festival is a tradition in Loveland! Grab the kiddos and sport your best costumes at the Loveland Museum for a day of trick-or-treating, costume contest, activity booths and entertainment.

- Tiny Tot Halloween
When: Oct. 31
Where: Old Town Square, Fort Collins
Details: Join us right here in downtown for this annual tradition! From 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m., kids of all ages will take over Old Town Square with costumes galore and bags full of candy. Don’t miss out on this favorite trick-or-treating event.
