Burt’s Logo Apparel is proud to sponsor the Annual Fire Hydrant 5K and Paws on the Promenade Event on June 2! The event supports the Larimer Humane Society and is a great opportunity to get some exercise outside with your pet, while also raising money for a great cause. If that’s not reason enough, we’ve got eight more for you!
- Your pet can become Spokesdog for next year’s event! The pet owner who raises the most money as an individual will have their dog become the 2019 Spokesdog. The lucky pup will receive a free photo shoot, be the inspiration for the logo and ride in the starter car to lead the run in 2019.
- You can win a puppy party! The team who raises the most money will enjoy a private puppy party at the shelter. So get your friends together and get fundraising! Time with cuddly puppies is on the line!
- A $10 donation gets you a doggie bandana! And whose pooch doesn’t look cute all dressed up in a little bandana?
- Kids are welcome! There is a free Kids’ 1 Mile Fun Run at 10 a.m. after the 5K.
- Think your dog has what it takes to be a star? The Puppy Pageant awards prizes for smallest dog, biggest dog, doggie doppelgangers, and wiggliest tail.
- Fun and games for all! The Musical Mutt Matt is your dog’s opportunity to shine in doggie musical chairs.
- Cool prizes! The more you donate to help these homeless pets, the more awesome prizes you win, too. This year’s prizes include an exciting lineup of aluminum water bottles, blankets, duffel bags, sunglasses, and more.
- Help us reach our goal! This year we hope to raise $110,000 to help the homeless pets. But we can’t do it without your help!

9:20 a.m. – Canine Agility Demonstration
9:45 a.m. – Skippy Scarf Down (Peanut Butter Eating Contest)
10:00 a.m. – Free Kids 1-Mile Fun Run
10:10 a.m. – Puppy Pageant (Prizes for Smallest Dog, Biggest Dog, Doggie Doppelgangers, and Wiggliest Tail!)
10:30 a.m. – Musical Mutt Matt (Musical Chairs for Dogs)
10:45 a.m. – City of Loveland K9 Police Unit Demonstration
12:00 p.m. – Expo Closes
All participants will receive a t-shirt designed by Burt’s and enjoy a fun-filled day surrounded by Larimer County’s cutest doggies. We can’t wait to see you there!
